Your best hand teaches it on your iron, on your ground, and that way of working stays yours. Your operator, your machine, and it goes nowhere else. We never acquire it and we do not sell it to your neighbour.
A name you hire
A specialist's way of working, licensed for your job, under their name, with that operator paid for every hour it runs and able to end it. For the jobs that need the hand nobody on your crew has.
An owner who only wants their own machines running their own way needs the first and never the second.
Somebody on your crew still says go, every time.
A person chooses
Before every job, somebody picks whose way of working is running, and that choice is written down with their name on it. No default and no last-used.
A person clears it
Fitted and ready are states a machine reaches on its own. Cleared to work is your person's word, given on the day, after the walk-around.
Safety still outranks everyone
Hard limits outrank every person, and every person outranks the software. A way of working is software, and it sits at the bottom of that order.
Four things a vendor would tell you, that we are not going to.
- 01It does not make your machine fasterA better way of working makes better decisions about when to move. Your hydraulics, your process and your material set the rest.
- 02It is not a safety deviceNothing here is an interlock and nothing here is a guard. No part of a safety case rests on it, and your machine's own safeguards are unchanged and still operating.
- 03We will not tell you about your warrantyWhether an arrangement affects a warranty, a conformity assessment or your liability position is for your counsel. We will not give you a legal opinion and you should not accept one from any vendor.
- 04It does not run your site without peopleIt proposes. A person authorizes. Somebody walks around the machine, starts it and clears it, on the day, every day.
Nothing is priced yet, and we are not going to invent a number.
The basis is settled: you are charged for the hours a licensed way of working is actually in use, from the same record that shows who authorized the work. You will see the hours. So will the person being paid.
The rate is not set and the terms are not written. When they are, they go up here in plain words, and nobody signs anything before then.
